THE WIDER OPENING OF OUR SCHOOL SETTING FROM March 2021 

We look forward to welcoming our children and their families back to Tealby in March. I would like to take this opportunity to explain some of the measures that we have already put in place ready to welcome you back. It may seem a lot to take in but we want to be completely transparent about the measures in place and hope that they are all reassuring.

It is our plan that all pupils, in all year groups, will return to school full-time from the 8th March and I’m sure you will agree, returning to school will be a positive step for children's education and well-being, and will be an important move back towards normal life for many children and families. 

While our aim is to have all pupils back at school, we have also planned for the possibility of pupils needing to self isolate and how we will ensure continuity of education. All communication will be via email and text alerts and home learning will be provided by our staff via the school website and through Google Classroom.

I must reiterate, both I and the Governors of Tealby Primary School hold the safety and well-being of our children, their families and our staff of paramount importance. Any decision to make a partial or full school closure may need to be undertaken based on local and national data, and with the guidance of Public Health England and the Health and Safety for LCC
