Our School's Progression of Learning.
We pride ourselves on making each day as creative as possible. Our curriculum has been designed to enable children to think for themselves and to develop a range of skills including problem solving, teamwork and creativity. Children are able to guide the learning journey and have an input in their own learning.
We use an approach called 'Mantle of the Expert'. It works with the teacher planning a fictional context where the students take on the responsibilities of an expert team. As the team, they are commissioned by a client to work on a assignment, which has been planned to generate critical thinking tasks and learning opportunities that will involve them in studying and developing wide areas of the curriculum.
