As home learning is now something we have to consider, you may be worried about how to balance supporting your child along with working at home. One thing you may want to consider is putting together a schedule for your child. We have put together a possible schedule which follows our school day - do not feel you have to follow it, choose some/all/none whichever suits your home the best. Take advantage of creative time - time when your child can play/make on their own - they would be doing this in school anyway. Don't be afraid to implement screen time!
If you find you are struggling with ANYTHING regarding your child's learning, please email your child's class teacher and we will endeavour to answer any questions you have and signpost you to relevant documents/lessons/games to help you.

A MESSAGE TO THE YEAR 6 LEAVERS FROM ALL THE STAFF AT TEALBY SCHOOL
On Friday 17th July, we said our final goodbyes to our Year 6's, traditionally the children read a speech in church but this year this wasn't possible so we have created a video to share the speeches with you instead. There are also some photos to remind them of their time at Tealby School.
You can watch this year's leavers assembly here:

I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped with this year's Sports Week, teachers, parents, children..... You have clearly had so much fun and laughter doing it and I have loved seeing all your photos. I'm still collecting points until 4.30 on Friday, if you haven't done any events yet there's still time to get up to 40 points for your team - and some teams need those points!!!
The winner will be announced as soon as I have collected and counted up the scores - keep your eyes peeled here and on our FaceBook page.
Thank you again
Mrs Haslam
Day 1 Update
Today has seen the Bottle Flip and Leaky Bottle challenges and so many families have joined in and shared their scores and photos with me today. The phrase 'it was fun' has been shared with me several times today - the pictures show how much fun you've had too. I'm just sorry it wasn't quite as sunny and warm as the day I did it!
Scores so far - it's a close battle for the top spot between GREEN and YELLOW teams. BLUE are off the starting block and steadily moving up the score board. RED team - where are you????? RED you have yet to score - I can still add today's scores on if you send me those photos and your scores.
People have struggled sending videos in as the files are too big - photos are great.
Looking forward to seeing tomorrow's antics
