  Some great shelter building today from our Y4. As part of their ‘Native American’ theme we have made a start on making native style hand drums using deer rawhide and bent wood. ‘Native Americans’ is quite a natural place for us as there is loads of crossover with prehistoric times..
  As is often the way, the drums turned out to be pretty complicated right from the very beginning! Fingers crossed next week we shall finish

• Family Decoration Festivities

  There has been a wonderful festive atmosphere in our school today! Children and their families have been working together to make and create beautiful Christmas decorations. Our pupils chose the theme to match our school’s ethos - caring for our environment - and they have produced super decorations using natural materials. The decorations will be used to decorate the Church Christmas Tree and the tree outside the Village Hall too.

  Loads of rain (again!!) for Tealby yr 4s, but we constructed some great little survival shelters this morning, onto ‘medicine pouches’ this afternoon!!
