  • Y3 Forest school. Starting to make bullroarers from felling the tree to carving the wood. We will finish these next week. We also skinned and cooked a pheasant.

  • Year 3 - Neanderthal Forest School

    Tealby Year 3 have been busy harvesting a log, splitting and carving their new project, and preparing Neanderthal style pheasant!

    All cooked quickly on a skewer!

  • Class 1 have been learning about Chinese New Year and have been creating blossom tree pictures and practising Chinese numbers.

  • Y3 Forest School. We had a grey, damp day in the woods today but the children worked hard as a team to get their ‘sub arctic’ shelter nearly finished. After lunch Matthew and Maria showed us different ways fires have been lit since Stone Age times. After demonstrating how to light our fires and reminding the children of the safety rule which everyone took on board we collected sticks and had a go. All three groups were really successful and were very proud of themselves.
